This, lovelies, is my make-up bag... It is piled with stuff I never use, like bright blue eyeshadow (you know those free-magazine gifts), a purple eye pencil, waterproof mascara, 10 kinds of lipbalms,...
Anyway, there are a few products I swear by. I've been buying them for years now, and they've never let me down. So, down here my most honest and objective (pinky swear) review. And if you have any great products, please, don't keep them to yourselves and share them with me! :)
Estee Lauder - Day wear Plus:
Ammmazing! I've been using this daycream for several years now, and I'm not bound to change anytime soon. The cream looks a bit green, but once you apply it on your skin it leaves a tinted layer. And that's why I love it so much, during winter, when your at your palest, it gives you an instant fresh look. Not really a tan, you'll need a good foundation if you want to receive that look... But a little bit of color.
I have to admit, though, you won't be able to keep this result during the whole day. But, it sure makes your morning reflection in the mirror a little more appealing... ;)
Helena Rubenstein - lash Queen Mascara
Ok, I lied... This is a brand new mascara. But I'm in love. First of all, I'll have to out myself as a big, bold eyelashes fan. Only then, you'll understand my mascara fetish. I've used everything; Nivea (hated it, made my eyes dry and itchy... Not an overall Nivea fan anyways), M.A.C. (found it a dificult brush and also, made my eyes dry. I have to admit, they're a bit sensitive), Clinique (good ones, only, you'll need a few layers to get a dramatic effect), Dior Show (LOVE, only they're quite expensive for an everyday use), Covergirl (not bad at all, I always use it - the waterproof ones - during summer), Estee Lauder (same as Clinique), Lancôme (my mum swears by this one. I'm, on the other hand, not really convinced). Anyhow, HR is really great. One layer is all the drama you'll need! :)
Chanel - poudre de soleil
I never use foundation, so I need something else to cover my whiteness :) - which is, especially during winter, a lot of work! I'm a big poudre de soleil/ bronzing powder fan. It is quick, and with a good brush you don't need to be as precise. And the queen of all poudre soleils is from Chanel. (though the bronzing powder from M.A.C. is also a real good substitute) I know not everybody uses bronzers, it's just a personal favour of mine that I liked to share with you guys. You can convince me, if you want, that foundation is more suitable... ;)
