A Vintage Affair

Shame on me: Kristin and I were supposed to shoot pictures in the city today, from our outfits... But I forgot my camera. So we 'had' to spend the day shopping. So no fresh pictures from Kristin and I. But, we promise, we'll update our blog really soon with pictures from our latest catches.

But, I already have something to share with you guys today; no clothes in fabric, but an amazing book all about clothes. Vintage clothes.

A Vintage affair (Villa Vintage is the Dutch name) from Isabel Wolff is all about vintage clothes, love, love triangles drama and history.

The story goes: When Phoebes' best friend, Emma dies, a bit of Phoebe goes lost as well. She leaves her job and fiancé and starts a whole new life. Phoebe opens a little shop with vintage clothes, Villa Vintage. Soon she'll meet interesting people with amazing stories about vintage high fashion clothes, who change her life forever.

If you love clothes, and want to hear more about past Balenciaga's and second hand Dior's, if you love romance on a quiet Sunday morning and just can't get enough of your grandma's old war stories... Then this book is a must! I read it and loved it.
